City BBQ on Richmond Road is absolutely fantastic! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious. The brisket is tender and flavorful, the pulled pork is smoky perfection, and the sides (especially the mac and cheese and hush puppies) are top-notch. The restaurant is clean and well-managed, and they move the line quickly even during busy hours. Highly recommend if you’re craving great BBQ in the area!

Just like BBQ should be. We went twice and the food was only slightly inconsistent, hence the 4 stars for food. I love collard green with meaty pork. One time, I ate the entire serving for 4. Next time they were so hot, I sadly had to return them. Darn! The pulled pork was consistently good and the brisket was worthy if a bit fatty and burnt around the outside. We loved it anyway. Dessert was plenty-good peach cobbler. I do recommend it because on the best day it was 5 star.

I may be a little biased due to working right up the road, but this place never disappoints. Lunch for 15$ or less and they have an app you can benefit from points by going back multiple times. This place is consistent and tastes so good. They remember my name when I go so that it makes me feel like home. If you haven’t tried it I would recommend.
